Hello, again internet.

Let’s gather around a metaphorical campfire and talk about the birth of this blog.

This blog is the result of one of the Liberal Arts classes that I’m taking in university. It essentially will be forcing me to post new conversations about my topic of choice: The journey from being an art student to (hopefully) making it in the industry. You can view an IGTV video that I uploaded recently as a summary of this passion project.

Good morning, internet! I’m so excited to share with you all something I’ve been waiting to do for a long time. Comment down below what type of content you’d like me to cover! Thanks for watching 🌞✨

But this is is something that I want to stress: although this blog is the result of class, I want it to become a long-term passion project to extend until I hopefully someday actually make it in the industry 🤞🏼

I have a tendency to have very idealistic goals, but fail to have the discipline to stick to them, and this blog (and my posts for class), is a hopeful stepping stone to create a habit of reflection for my growth as a designer.

So what does this mean for you, dear subscriber?

Great question. This means that you can expect empowering, educational, and empathetic posts that speak of design, lifestyle, and other relevant topics.

This also means that by agreeing to subscribe, you are now a part of the conversation.

Give me feedback! Tell me what I’m doing wrong! Tell me how I can improve and what you like about each post. Share this with your friends! Share this with your mom! Or your dog! I don’t discriminate!

And finally, I want to say thank you. By subscribing to my blog, you are supporting my work and give me encouragement to keep doing what I’m doing.

Until next time,

Didn't your mother tell you that networking is good for you?
